These terms govern your use of LawyerPA, the practice diary at lawyerpa.net and its mobile apps. By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of yourself and, where you set one up, your firm.
1. Accounts and firms
You must be a lawyer, or work for one, to use LawyerPA. Each account belongs to a person. Cases, fees and team records belong to the firm. The partner who creates a firm controls its members, roles and billing.
2. Your content
Case records, notes, documents and client details you add remain yours. We store and process them only to run the service for you. You can export or delete them at any time from Settings.
3. Professional responsibility
LawyerPA is a diary and drafting aid. It does not give legal advice. Dates, cause lists and drafts produced with the assistant must be checked against the court record before you rely on them. You remain responsible for your filings and appearances.
4. Packages and payment
Paid packages are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are shown before you pay and include applicable taxes where stated. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. Annual payments are refundable within 14 days of purchase.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use LawyerPA to store content you have no right to hold, to share access with people outside your firm, or to attempt to reach other firms’ data. We may suspend accounts that put other users at risk.
6. Availability
We aim for the service to be available at all times and schedule maintenance outside court hours. Firm packages include a written service level.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before it. We are not liable for missed hearings or deadlines arising from information not checked against the court record.
8. Ending your account
You can close your account from Settings. We keep an export of the firm’s data available for 30 days, then delete it, except where the law requires us to keep records longer.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Courts at Lahore have jurisdiction, unless your firm’s agreement names another forum.
10. Changes and contact
